Welcome to the Sophia Network members' section

This is where you can meet all the other fantastic women in the Sophia Network. Every member has their own profile page. Plus you can:

  • browse to see who else is in the network
  • join a group of members doing similar work to you, or who live in the same region
  • search to find people, for example who live near you
  • add an event that you're hosting or find out about Sophia events
  • add a post to the blog, or comment on what someone else has written

We all lead busy lives so you probably won't have huge amounts of time to spend here, but we hope that this new members' section will make it easier for you to get to know other Sophia members, and to interact more meaningfully when you do!

So, if you're a member, sign in on the left; if you're a woman who wants to join the Sophia Network, sign up on the left!

TRANSFERRING TO THE NEW MEMBERS' SECTION
We need all our members to sign up to this new members section, even if you've been a member since the start and even if you signed up just before the 9 September 09 which is when we made the change. That will give you the opportunity to make sure your details are up to date and to choose what is said about you!

As a little incentive, every member who joins or has transferred by 5 November 2009 will be entered into a draw to win a free place at the Youthwork Conference 2009 or 2010! And there'll be other prizes of books for some runners up.

The old members section is here if you want to access it. And if you're confused about which bit you've signed up to, then please email Jenny Baker. Thank you for your patience while we make the transition. The new members' section seems very popular with those who have signed up so hopefully it will all be worth it!

PLEASE NOTE - the terms and conditions you'll be asked to sign up to when you register are written by SocialGo, the networking site we're using, not by us. They mention payment and credit cards BUT the Sophia Network is free, you won't be asked for credit card details and we'll never charge you anything!
